WHALES IN PORTLAND
Not only has there been an abundance of whales in Portland this month , frolicking with their calves, there has been many pods of dolphins playing around our beaches , swarms of gannets diving in the harbour and the Seals are very entertaining at Bridgewater.

On the Great Ocean Road Half way between Adelaide and Melbourne
At the start (or end, if coming from Melbourne) of the Great Ocean Road is the beautiful sea port of Portland.
Being 538km from Adelaide ( under 5 hours drive) and 359km From Melbourne (4 hours along the Highway). Portland is a lovely place to rest up and start the drive along one of Australias most amazing coastlines - The Great Ocean Road. The drive from Portland to Melbourne along the Great Ocean road is 420km (approx 5.5 hours).
